This happens to be my first article here. Thanks to a lot of blogs and viewpoints that I see around, everywhere - not just in Instablogs, unfortunately, written by Indians, that condemn many facets of life / people that we Indians have/are going through.

Well, take the case of one of the blogs that talk about Mahatma Gandhi. I couldn’t but fail to notice that he was praised by non-Indians, and many of his teachings / preaches were brought forward by non-Indians. And, there is an Indian who is the first to quickly point out - “Mr. Gandhi? Oh! Don’t talk about him. He has done so much of harm.....!”. Ironically, the first Indian who comments is staying out of India, running away from the daily hassles that Indians face, belonging to a tribe which normally complains: Oh! That horrible Indian life! We never have such troubles here (obviously referring to the “high” standards of life that his country of residence provides).

Well, I think (it’s my personal opinion again), that it is this attitude of Indians that has kept us all from not churning out many internationally acclaimed figures. Thankfully, our TATAs, Wipros and Infys, and many other companies are slowly breaking loose from many of these “downward pulling forces” and getting out to reach internationally. I for one, was proud when TATA took over Corus, Jaguar and Land Rover. It is also a matter of great pride when many multinationals take India as a strong reason to be present here - take the case of Vodafone, Virgin, and many others coming to India.

Unfortunately, and, nothing to combat about, are some political parties (did I hear you correct me - “not some, many”), that look for political gains, and does not help big industries proceed with that all big ventures that they’ve set their foot into. I can’t help but talk about TATA pulling out from their place of original intent, in one of the developing states of India. All because of political gains of a party.

Then, there are politically motivated anti-community protests against a particular community. Oh! All these, and more! When will we all understand that these are the BIG DOWNWARD PULLERS that we face in India?

Unless there is a strong government sponsored non-political organisation, that is entrusted with the responsibility of taking forward Indians, from something today to many things tomorrow, in par with many of the developed countries, things will not change. And, India will successfully churn out many such “peaceful anti-Indian Indians,” who have decided to go all out against Indians, having themselves run out of India to enjoy “peaceful and comfortable” lives out of India.

For all those who form an opinion from this article based on the fact that this is written by somebody who has always had friends / relatives out of India, and is keen to put a word of protest against those, please take a step back. I have been out of India too - for sufficient time so as to comment such as the above. To quickly stop anybody thinking that I am against such brain-drains, I wish to summarize my article with these sentences: This is not against people who are going out of India. It is about people (whether in India / out of India) criticizing the Indian greatness. Criticizing politics, criticizing India life, etc., but, doing nothing (even a small bit) to help India grow forward. Except running off from this wildness!
